چکیده
Nursing home residents with psychiatric disorders deserve to enjoy the full spectrum of therapeutic options that are available to their counterparts living in the community. These therapeutic options, the “tools” of the geriatric psychiatrist, include a broad range of traditional and novel psychotropic medications, in addition to well-recognized nonpharmacologic interventions such as psychotherapy.
